Sophomore (2015) – Competed in five meets for the Bulldogs…ran a personal record time of 16:17.10 in the 5k at the Samford Tri-Meet on Sept. 1, and placed 13th overall…pushed himself to break another personal record with a time of 26:25.80 in the 8k at the SoCon Championships where he placed 43rd overall in the event…ran a 33:32.30 in his first collegiate 10k at the NCAA South Regionals where he finished 111th overall.
Freshman (2014) – Competed in four meets for the Bulldogs under head coach Lori Strand…ran a 17:16.70 in his first collegiate 5k at the Samford Dual Meet on Aug. 29, where he finished 7th overall…ran a season best 27:25.50 in the 8k at the Charlotte Invitational on Sept. 25, where he also finished 18th overall.
High School: Product of Homewood High School…enters his collegiate career with personal bests in the 1,600 meters (4:29.00), 3,200 meters (9:59.00) and the 5,000 meters (16:11.00).
Personal: Full name Michael Roland Rohdy…born on July 13, 1995…son of Michael and Katherine Rohdy…has one brother, Andrew and two sisters, Allison and Elizabeth…majoring in Business Administration.
