High School: Led team to the Class 4A state championship as a senior . . . led his team with 158 tackles, including 90 solo stops . . . had three interceptions, two blocked kicks, two forced fumbles and seven passes broken up in 2012 . . . earned All-Region and All-State honors in 2011 and 2012 . . . also named his team’s Defensive Player of the Year and a permanent team captain . . . for his career, tallied 432 tackles, 11 interceptions, 26 passes defended, seven forced fumbles, five blocked punts, two blocked field goals and four fumble recoveries . . . played for Coach Terry Curtis in high school.

Personal: Born Feb. 5, 1994 . . . son of Wilson Pettway and Angela Nash . . . majoring in policy, organizations and leadership.
