2014: Saw action in two games, playing against VMI and Concordia . . . served as a backup tight end.

2013: Redshirted . . . participated with the Bulldogs’ scout team.

High School: Prepped at Jefferson High School in Tampa, Florida . . . as a junior, completed 36-of-59 passes for 503 yards and five touchdowns.

Personal: Born Oct. 7, 1994 . . . son of John and Michele Small . . . majoring in marine science.
