2013 SoCon INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIP - 800 METERS

2014 (Redshirt Junior): Indoor: Competed in six meets…ran a season best 1:51.48 in the 800 meters at the Auburn Indoor Invitational on January 18…ran a season best 4:19.08 in the mile at the UAB Blazer Invitational on January 10…Outdoor: Competed in seven meets for the Bulldogs…ran a personal best 51.07 in the 400 meters at the Battle of I-65 on March 15…recorded a personal best 1:50.29 in the 800 meters at the Alabama vs. Mississippi Border Clash on April 11.

2013 (Junior): Indoor: Competed in six meets … won a SoCon Championship in the 800 meters, finishing first in the prelims (1:53.94) and the finals (1:53.68) … set school records in both the 800 (1:51.78) and 1,000 meters (2:27.36) … anchored the fourth-place 1,600-meter relay team at the SoCon Championships (3:21.13) … ran a personal-best 4:14.08 in the mile run at the High Tide Opener.  Outdoor: Redshirted.

At Clemson: Competed two years at Clemson … qualified for the NCAA East Regional in consecutive years in the 800 meters … scored points for the Tigers at the indoor and outdoor ACC Championships as well as the ACC Cross Country Championships and Southeast Regionals … his personal-best time of 2:27.62 in the 1,000 meters ranks fifth all-time at Clemson … owns personal bests of 1:49.43 in the 800 meters and 25:31 in the 8k.

High School: Attended Pendleton Heights High School … competed in the 800 meters and the 4x800-meter relay at the 2010 New Balance Outdoor Nationals … placed seventh at the 2009 state cross country meet … was a two-time runner up in the 800 meters at the outdoor state track championships and also finished third his sophomore year … owns the school record in the 800 meters of 1:50.87, set at the 2010 Midwest Meet of Champions … was a three-sport athlete, as he also competed in basketball in addition to cross country and track … was named the Herald Bulletin Athlete in all three of those sports during the 2009-10 season … a three-time MVP in cross country and track and was named Indiana's Male Distance MVP as a senior … was a second-team all state selection in basketball after leading his team in five statistical categories.

Personal: Born April 9, 1991 … son of Gregg and Angela Hendershot … has one sister, Paige, and three brothers, Nick, Noah and Grant … majoring in Sports Administration with a minor in Business Management.
