2013 INDOOR SOCON CHAMPION - HIGH JUMP
2012 OUTDOOR SOCON CHAMPIONSHIP FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR
2014 (Redshirt Junior): Indoor: Competed in five meets…posted a season best 1.99m in the high jump during the Southern Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships…tallied a season best 13.79m leap in the Southern Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 01…Outdoor: Competed in six meets…turned in a season best jump of 2.05m in the high jump at the Georgia Invitational on May 10…posted a season best jump of 13.35m in the triple jump at the SoCon Outdoor Track and Field Championships on April 26.
2013 (Redshirt Sophomore): Indoor: Competed in four meets … won a SoCon Championship in the high jump (6-8, 2.03m) … placed fourth at the SoCon Championships in the triple jump with a school-record distance of 47-2 (14.38m) … set a new PR in the high jump at the High Tide Opener, clearing 6-8.75 (2.05m), which moves him to second all-time at Samford. Outdoor: Competed in seven meets … finished runner-up in the high jump at the SoCon Championships, clearing a personal-best 6-10.75 (2.10m) which ranks second all-time at Samford … added more team points at the conference meet with a seventh-place finish in the triple jump (45-7.75, 13.91m) … won the triple jump at the Raleigh Relays with a season-best 46-0.74 (14.04m).
2012 (Redshirt Freshman): Indoor: Competed in six meets … set a school record in the triple jump at the Birmingham Ice Breaker (46-10.25, 14.28m) … earned the bronze medal at the SoCon Championships in the triple jump (46-8.75, 14.24m) … added team points with a sixth-place finish in the high jump (6-4.75, 1.95m). Outdoor: Competed in three meets … named SoCon Men’s Freshman of the Year at the conference championships after earning team points in the high jump (4th, 6-7, 2.01m), triple jump (4th, 46-7.25, 14.20m) and long jump (8th, 21-8.25, 6.61m) … won the high jump at the Samford Multi with a personal-best height of 6-9.5 (2.07m).
2011 (Freshman): Indoor: Competed in all five meets during the season ... set a school record in the triple jump, finishing eighth at the SoCon Championships (46-2.75, 14.09m) ... earned the bronze medal in the high jump at the conference meet, clearing a personal-best height of 6-6.75 (2.00m) ... set his collegiate PR in the long jump in the first competition of the season, jumping 21-1 (6.42m) at the Blue Raider Invite. Outdoor: Medical Redshirt.
High School: A 2010 Alabama State Champion in track...also played basketball.
