2014 (Sophomore): Indoor: Competed in five meets…recorded a season best 1:51.64 in the 800 meters at the Hilton Garden Invitational on January 31…notched a personal best 4:09.23 in the mile at the Auburn Indoor Invitational on January 18…ran a season best 8:41.03 in the 3,000 meters at the Samford Multi and Invitational on February 8…Outdoor: Competed in seven meets…ran a personal best 1:48.54 in the 800 meters at the Alabama vs. Mississippi Border Clash on April 11…ran a season best 3:54.33 in the 1,500 meters at the Southern Conference Outdoor Championships for a first place finish…ran a personal best 8:29.17 in the 3,000 meters at the Battle of I-65 on March 15.
2013 (Freshman): Indoor: Competed in four meets … ran a personal-best 4:13.80 in the mile run at Notre Dame’s Meyo Invite, which ranks second all-time at Samford … finished fourth in the mile run at the SoCon Championships (4:14.81) … anchored the second-place distance medley relay at the SoCon Championships (10:06.61). Outdoor: Competed in seven meets … was named the SoCon Men’s Outdoor Freshman of the Year … earned silver at the SoCon Championships in the 800 meters, placing second (1:51.30) … added more team points with a fourth-place finish in the 1,500 meters (3:54.42) … set a Samford school record in the 800 meters at the Georgia Tech Invite (1:49.00) … set a new Samford Track and Soccer Stadium facility record in the 800 meters at the Samford Open (1:50.48) … set a personal-best in the 1,500 meters at the Auburn Invite (3:54.07).
