2014 (Sophomore): Indoor: Competed in five meets…recorded a season best 14.47m in the shot put on at the Southern Conference Indoor Championships…tabbed a personal best 16.32m mark in the weight throw at the Southern Conference Indoor Championships en route to a third place finish…Outdoor: Competed in six meets for the Bulldogs…recorded a personal best 14.87m in the shot put at the Alabama vs. Mississippi Border Clash on April 11…recorded another personal best of 45.54m in the shot put at the Tiger Classic on April 4…notched a season best 49.56m in the hammer throw at the SoCon Outdoor Championships on April 26.
2013 (Freshman): Indoor: Competed in four meets … threw a personal-best 50-10.75 (15.51m) in the weight throw at the Samford Multi, which ranks third all-time at Samford … threw a personal-best 42-1.25 (12.83m) in the shot put at the SoCon Championships. Outdoor: Competed in six meets … finished second at the SoCon Championships in the hammer throw with a personal-best distance of 164-9 (50.21m), which ranks second all-time at Samford … added more team points with a sixth-place finish in the discus (140-3, 42.76m) … threw a personal-best 43-8.5 (13.32m) in the shot put at the SoCon Championships, which ranks eighth all-time at Samford … set a personal best in the discus at the Samford Open (141-8, 43.19m).
High School: Attended Huntsville High School … holds the school record in the shot put at 48-3 (14.70m) and set a personal record of 177-1 (53.98m) in the discus … placed fourth in the discus at the 6A State meet his junior year and third his senior year … was fourth at the Mobile Challenge of Champions Invite Division his junior season and was the discus champion (169-11, 51.80m) at the event in 2012.
