BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Samford University men's tennis team will continue play in its 2013 fall season at home this weekend as the Bulldogs host the Samford Fall Invite, Friday through Sunday, at the Samford Tennis Complex. Play is slated to begin at 10 a.m. (CDT) Friday.
In its final competition of the fall campaign, Samford will square off against competitors from Jacksonville State and UAB. The three-day event will consist of a round-robin format with four singles flights and two doubles brackets. There will be a single champion awarded for each flight.
Samford continues play in its 2013 fall season this weekend boasting an extremely talented team. The Bulldogs are led by senior

Austin Akers and sophomores
Trey Carter and
Fares Kilani. Samford's roster also includes redshirt freshman
Henry Moore and true freshman
Liam Sullivan.
The 2013 Samford Fall Invite is schedule to begin at 10 a.m. (CDT) Friday with the doubles competition being followed by singles play. All of the matches will be held at the Bulldogs' state-of-the-art Samford Tennis Complex.
