BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Samford University women's tennis team will continue play in its 2014 fall season at home this weekend as the Bulldogs host the Samford Fall Round Robin, Friday through Sunday, at the Samford Tennis Complex. Play is slated to begin at 10 a.m. (CDT) Friday.
 
In its third tournament of the fall campaign, Samford will square off against competitors from South Alabama, Troy and UAB. The three-day event will consist of a round-robin format with eight singles flights and four doubles brackets. There will be a single champion awarded for each flight.
 
Samford continues play in its 2014 fall season this weekend boasting an extremely talented team. The Bulldogs will be led by seniors Stephanie N'tcha, AnnMarie Lyon and Yasmeen Ebada, as well as juniors Carita Moolman and Jessica Northcutt.
 
Samford will also boast the return of talented sophomore Lauren Caballero, while also bolstering its depth with the addition of highly-touted true freshman Savannah Wood from Woodstock, Ga.
 
The 2014 Samford Fall Round Robin is schedule to begin at 10 a.m. (CDT) each day with the doubles competition followed by singles play. The last round of singles will start each day at 2 p.m. All of the matches will be held at the Bulldogs' state-of-the-art Samford Tennis Complex.
