BIRMINGHAM, Ala.— New Samford Head Football Coach Chris Hatcher announced the dates for the Bulldogs' spring practice, and for his summer camps on Monday.
 
Hatcher's first spring practice as Samford's head coach will begin on Saturday, March 7. The team will go through 15 full practices during the spring. The final workout of the spring is scheduled for Saturday, April 11.
 
Samford returns seven starters on offense and seven starters on defense from last year's squad. The 2013 Bulldogs finished with a 7-4 overall record and a 5-2 mark in Southern Conference play.
 
Hatcher will also host several camps throughout the summer. The Bull Pup Camp for kids, ages 5-13, will take place June 8-10. The QB School, for ages 10-18, is scheduled for June 10-12.
 
Three separate Prospect Camps will be held, for players in grades 9-12. Those camps will be held June 4, July 10 and July 11. Passing Camps for high school teams will be held July 8 and July 9.
