BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The 20^th-ranked Samford football team will play host to the Western Carolina Catamounts Saturday at 6 p.m. at Seibert Stadium.
 
The game can be heard locally on FM-99.1 The Game, or worldwide on the internet at the following links: ONLINE STREAMING, MOBILE APP. The game will be televised on the American Sports Network, and it can be seen locally on WABM My 68. The contest can also be seen online at the following link: SOCON DIGITAL NETWORK.
 
 Samford enters the game with a record of 5-1 overall and 3-1 in SoCon play. The Bulldogs have won their last three games and are coming off a 55-21 win over VMI last week.
         
Western Carolina comes into the contest with a mark of 1-5 overall and 0-4 in SoCon play. The Catamounts are coming off a 38-24 loss at Mercer last weekend.
 
The Samford Bulldogs and Western Carolina Catamounts are meeting for the 14th time, with Samford holding an 11-2 advantage in the series. The teams last met on Oct. 24, 2015 in Cullowhee, N.C. Western Carolina took that game, defeating the Bulldogs by a score of 56-36.
