CONWAY, Ark.—The Samford football team will play its first road game of the 2016 season when the Bulldogs play at Central Arkansas Saturday at 6 p.m.
 
The game can be heard locally on FM-99.1 The Game, or worldwide on the internet at the following links: ONLINE STREAMING, MOBILE APP. Fans inside Estes Stadium Saturday can listen to the broadcast on 89.9 FM. Coverage starts at 5 p.m. with the Regions Countdown to Kickoff.  
 
Samford enters the game with a record of 1-0. The Bulldogs opened the 2016 season with an impressive 77-7 win over Mars Hill on Sept. 1.
         
Central Arkansas also comes into the game with a record of 1-0, and the Bears are 1-0 in Southland Conference play. UCA opened the season with a 56-13 win over conference foe Houston Baptist on Sept. 1.
 
Samford and Central Arkansas are meeting for just the second time ever in football, with Samford claiming the only previous meeting. The two teams opened the 2015 season against each other at Seibert Stadium. In that meeting, the Bulldogs pulled away in the second half for a 45-16 victory.
