CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- The Samford University volleyball team earned a thrilling 26-24 victory in Friday's first set on the road against the Chattanooga Mocs, but the momentum proved to be short-lived as the Bulldogs dropped the next three frames and suffered a 3-1 (26-24, 22-25, 17-25, 19-25) loss in an early-season Southern Conference match held in Maclellan Gymnasium.
