GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Samford men's tennis team will open Southern Conference play with a match at Furman Friday at 2 p.m. (CT) at the Mickel Tennis Center.
 
Samford enters the match with a record of 4-7. The Bulldogs are coming off a 4-3 win over USC Upstate on March 5.
 
For the season, Eduardo Lourido Sanchez has led Samford with a 5-2 record. Jake Faundez and Max Rebol are both 4-5 so far this season, while Justin Ghavami has a mark of 4-6.
 
Hugo Moreira enters the match with a 2-5 record. Curran Verma is 2-9 on the season, while Austin Heinz has a mark of 0-1.
 
Furman comes into the contest with an overall record of 10-5. The Paladins are coming off a 4-3 win over Duquesne on March 7.
