BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford men's tennis team will play at Mercer Saturday at 10 a.m. (CT), and host UNCG Sunday at 12 p.m. (CT) at the Samford Tennis Center.
Samford enters the weekend with a record of 4-10 overall and 0-3 in Southern Conference play. The Bulldogs are coming off a 5-2 loss at East Tennessee State last Saturday.
So far this season, Samford has been led by
Eduardo Lourido Sanchez with a record of 6-4.
Max Rebol has an overall record of 6-6, while
Jake Faundez has a mark of 5-7.
Justin Ghavami has compiled a record of 4-9 so far this season.
Hugo Moreira has a record of 3-7 so far this season.
Curran Verma has a mark of 2-12, while
Austin Heinz has a record of 0-1.
Mercer enters the weekend with a record of 19-3 overall and 4-1 in Southern Conference matches. The Bears are coming off a 4-1 win at Chattanooga Thursday afternoon.
UNCG is currently 7-9 overall and 2-2 in league matches. The Spartans are coming off a 5-2 non-conference win at Radford last Sunday. Prior to Sunday's match at Samford, UNCG will play at Furman Friday afternoon.
