AUBURN, Ala. – The Samford men's tennis team will play at Auburn Sunday at 4 p.m. in Auburn's Yarbrough Tennis Center.
Samford enters the match with a record of 2-1. The Bulldogs opened the season with a 7-0 loss at Alabama, but the team bounced back to claim back-to-back victories over Kennesaw State (5-2) and Alabama State (6-1).
In singles for Samford,
Jake Faundez has played every match so far at the No. 1 position, and has posted a record of 1-2.
Justin Ghavami has compiled a record of 2-1 at No. 2 singles, while
Eduardo Lourido is 2-1 at the No. 3 singles position.
Roussow Norval has played at No. 3 singles and is 1-2 so far this season.
Aleksandar Petrovic is 2-1 at No. 5 singles, while
Max Rebol has compiled a 1-2 record at the No. 6 singles spot.
Auburn comes into the match with a record of 6-2. The Tigers are coming off a 4-1 win over Liberty Friday afternoon.
