NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Samford men's golf team is set to compete in the Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate, hosted by Lipscomb University at the Richland Country Club (Par 71, 6,943 yards), Monday and Tuesday.

In addition to Samford and the host Lipscomb, Abilene Christian, Belmont, Bradley, Chattanooga, Maryland, Memphis, Mercer, Rice, USC Upstate and Western Kentucky will participate in the event. The teams will play two rounds Monday and one round Tuesday.

Samford last played in the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate last week, finishing 12th. In that event, Samford was led by Alec Stopperich, tying for 18th with a final score of 219 (72-75-72). Harlan Winn tied for 41st with a mark of 226 (73-78-75), while Alex Markham tied for 49th at 229 (74-76-79).

Austin Rains finished in a tie for 64th with a three-round score of 236 (80-78-78). Jackson Seawell came in at 72nd with a mark of 246 (79-83-84). George Hall, playing as an individual, finished 68th with a three-round score of 239 (79-78-72).

For the season, Stopperich has a 74.07 stroke average in 27 rounds of golf. Winn has posted a 74.29 average in 24 rounds.
