BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford soccer program will host its annual ID Camp Jan. 26-27 at the Samford University Track and Soccer Stadium.
The camp is open to anyone ages 13-20. The first day of the camp, Jan. 26, will include two training sessions, lunch and a full-field scrimmage. The final day of the camp will consist of a longer single training session, wrapping up the camp by 11:30 a.m. The camp will begin at 9 a.m. both days.
The camp will be led by Samford coaches and players, as well as other top collegiate coaches from the Southeast Region. This is a great opportunity for players and the Samford coaches to evaluate and elevate their skill level. The players will be challenged both mentally and physically through the competitive environment. Additionally, the camp will prove to be a great way to prepare players for their high school and club seasons.
The winter ID camps will work on the following instruction: Technical work, positional play, finishing, defending, strength and conditioning, as well as a special collegiate recruiting information session. During the camp, the players will have access to our two full-sized game fields and also our full-sized turf field. We will have evening matches so that players will be able to incorporate what was learned during training each day.
Per NCAA rules, Bulldog Soccer Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by age, gender and number of campers.
