GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Samford volleyball team picked up a hard-fought, 3-2 (27-25, 23-25, 25-22, 21-25, 17-15) win at Furman Saturday evening at Alley Gymnasium.
With the win, Samford improves to 19-5 overall and 13-1 in SoCon play. Furman falls to 6-19 overall and 6-8 in league matches.

- Furman jumped out to a 16-12 lead in the first set.
- Samford fought back to take a 21-20 lead.
- With the score tied at 25-25, Samford scored the final two points to take the set, 27-25.

- With the score tied at 23-23, Furman scored the final two points to even the match with a 25-23 set win.
