GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Samford men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision at Furman Saturday afternoon.
 
This loss will drops Samford's record to 9-9 overall and 1-4 in Southern Conference play. The Paladins improve to a 12-4 overall record and a 4-1 conference record.
 
In singles play, the Bulldogs were victorious on court two, where sophomore Daniel Orlita defeated Furman's Clarke Wilson 6-3, 0-6, 6-4.
 
In doubles, Furman won all three matches.
 
Samford will take on SoCon opponent Wofford in Birmingham on Thursday, April 11. The
match is set for a 3 p.m. CT start. This will be the final home game for the Bulldogs this season,
which will be followed by a road match against Mercer on April 13. A full recap and results will
