AUBURN, Ala. – The Samford men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision at Auburn Friday evening.
With the loss, Samford falls to 4-4 on the season. Auburn improves to 9-3 with the win.
Auburn earned wins on the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles courts to secure the first point of the match. The No. 1 doubles match was unfinished.
In singles, the Tigers took wins at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 to close out the 4-0 win. The singles matches at No. 1, No. 5 and No. 6 were unfinished.
Samford will open Southern Conference play by hosting ETSU Feb. 22, at 2 p.m. at the Samford Tennis Center.
