AUBURN, Ala. – Samford sophomore
Jim Hendrikx dropped a 6-0, 7-5 decision to Fynn Kuenkler from Tulane in the first round of the main draw at the ITA Southern Regional, hosted by Auburn University Saturday.
Hendrikx, who is ranked 96
th in singles in the country by the ITA, entered the main draw as the No. 7 seed due to his high ranking. He will now move into the consolation portion of the event.
After the ITA Regionals, the Bulldogs will next compete in the ITA Futures, hosted by Florida State, Oct. 22-25.
