Women’s Golf Places Fifth At Terrier Intercollegiate

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Samford women's golf team placed fifth out of 17 teams at the Terrier Intercollegiate, hosted by Wofford Monday and Tuesday at Carolina Country Club (Par 72, 6,056 yards).

Samford finished with a three-round score of 902 (302-294-306). Eastern Kentucky and Lipscomb tied for the team championship, with identical scores of 873.

Samford was led individually by Kelley Topiwala, tying for 12^th with a three-round total of 223 (73-74-76). Mary Kate Horton tied for 16^th at 225 (73-77-75), while Bailey Dunstan tied for 26^th with a final score of 228 (77-73-78).

Samford will return to action at the Mercer Invitational, Nov. 8-9 in Macon, Ga.
