Women’s Golf To Close Out Fall At Mercer Invitational

MACON, Ga. – The Samford women's golf team will close the fall portion of its schedule at the Mercer Invitational, Monday and Tuesday at Brickyard Golf Club (Par 72, 6,171 yards).

FOCAL POINT

Samford will look to end its fall season on a high note at the Mercer Invitational.

BULLDOGS TO WATCH

Samford's playing five for the tournament will be Kelley Topiwala, Bailey Dunstan, Mary Kate Horton, Sophie Membrino and Allison Howard.
Christian Williams will play as an individual.
Dunstan leads the team with a 74.67 stroke average in nine rounds of golf. Topiwala is averaging a 75.67 in nine rounds.

NEWS & NOTES

A total of 11 teams will compete in the tournament.
Samford will be joined in the field by Mercer, Delaware, Kennesaw State, Charleston Southern, Georgia Southern, Cincinnati, Southern Mississippi, Georgia State, Seminole State and Lamar.
The teams will play 36 holes Monday and 18 holes Tuesday. The tee times will start at 8:30 a.m. both days.
