BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford men's tennis team will compete against South Alabama on Sunday, Feb. 21. The match is set to start at 1 p.m. at the Samford Tennis Center.
 
The Bulldogs had their last match against Lipscomb postponed, so they still have an overall record of 3-4. South Alabama currently sits at 2-3 after defeating West Alabama 7-0 this past Wednesday in Mobile, Ala.

• Rossouw Norval is 2-2 at the No. 1 spot with wins against UAB and Alabama State. He has also received SoCon Player of the Week recognition already this season.
• Eladio Fabregas has a record of 4-3 with two wins at both the No. 2 and No. 3 spots. Fabregas and doubles partner Tomas Santantonio have also seen the most success on the court for Samford with four wins at the No. 2 spot and no losses.
• In singles play, Tomas Santantonio has captured wins on multiple courts. He has seen two wins at the No. 5 spot and one at both the No. 3 and 4 spots, while only dropping two matches so far at the No. 4 spot.

 
OPPONENT QUICK LOOKS:

• South Alabama has seen two victories this season with a 6-1 win against Nicholls State and a 7-0 win against West Alabama. On the other hand, the Jaguars have recorded losses against Florida state, Florida Atlantic, and Mississippi State.
