- Texas AM scored a run in the second inning and another in third for a 2-0 lead.
- The Aggies plated two more runs in the sixth inning and one in the seventh for a 5-0 lead.
- Texas A&M broke the game open with five runs in the eighth inning to push its lead to 10-0.
- Samford scored a run in the top of the ninth inning to make the final score 10-1. Joseph Salvo singled to drive in Andrew Bennett for the game's final run.
ON THE MOUND
- Samuel Strickland (2-2) took the loss on the mound for Samford, pitching 5.0 innings, allowing two runs on three hits.
- Dustin Saenz (3-1) tossed 8.0 innings, giving up no runs on four hits to earn the win for Texas A&M.
