SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Samford freshmen Bailey Dunstan was named to the Southern Conference's All-Freshman team when the league released its postseason women's golf awards Tuesday afternoon.
 
Dunstan led Samford with a 76.36 stroke average in 14 rounds this spring. She posted a pair of top 10 finished during the season. She tied for third at the UAB Spring Invitational, and she tied for ninth at the Southern Conference Championship.
 
Following the season, Dunstan and fellow freshman Kelley Topiwala qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur Four Ball in Dallas. The pair made the cut to advance to match play before falling 4 & 3 in the round of 32.
