BIRMINGHAM, Ala.— The schedule for the Samford baseball team's home weekend Southern Conference series with The Citadel has been changed due to the threat of inclement weather in the Birmingham area.
 
The teams will now play a doubleheader Saturday, beginning and noon, and then a single game Sunday, also at noon.
 
Samford enters the weekend with a record of 18-11 overall and 8-1 in Southern Conference play. The Citadel currently has a mark of 8-16 overall and 1-7 in league contests.
 
All three games will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
