BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford men's tennis team will host conference opponent, Chattanooga, for Senior Day on Friday, Apr. 9 at 2 p.m. at the Samford Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs will honor
Rossouw Norval,
Victor Chaw, and
Tomas Santantonio for the senior's last regular season home match. Samford will enter the match with an overall record of 11-6, 4-0 (SoCon) after five-straight wins. Chattanooga currently sits at 7-9, 2-2 (SoCon) and will compete against Mercer the Sunday after facing the Bulldogs.

- Both teams have competed against each other 12 times.

BULLDOGS TO WATCH:
- Eladio Fabregas improved his overall record to 12-5 in singles after he defeated Furman's Henrik Atlevi in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4, this past weekend. Fabregas has only seen losses against Alabama, Auburn, Troy, South Alabama, and South Florida this season.
- Doubles partners Tomas Santantonio and Eladio Fabregas continue to lead the Bulldogs at the No. 2 spot with nine wins and just two losses this season. The pair found their ninth win against Ivan Mitric and Benjamin Cahill from Furman by a 6-3 final decision.
CHATTANOOGA QUICK LOOKS:
- The Mocs have captured conference wins over The Citadel and Wofford while dropping two matches to Furman and ETSU. In its last match, Chattanooga defeated Belmont by a final score of 5-2.
- Tomas Rodriguez and Kerim Hyatt each have a team-high nine wins this season with both players earning an overall record of 9-7. Rodriguez has captured his nine wins and seven losses at the No. 1 spot, while Hyatt has collected a record of 9-5 at the No. 3 spot and 0-2 at the No. 2 spot.
- In doubles, Tomas Rodriguez/Peyton Gatti and Turner Voges/Simon Labbe lead the Mocs with eight wins and five losses at the No. 1 and 2 spots, respectively.
