BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford men's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to Alabama State Thursday evening at the Samford Tennis Center.
With the loss, Samford falls to 3-10 on the season. Alabama State improves to 6-6 with the win.
Alabama State won the doubles matches on the No. 2 and No. 3 courts to earn the first point of the match.
The teams split the six singles matches, giving Alabama State the 4-3 win. Samford earned wins at No. 1 (
Mohammed Ali Bellalouna), No. 4 (
J.B. Pickard) and No. 5 (
Harrison Williams) singles.
Samford will host Furman on Saturday, March 26. The match is set for a 12 p.m. start from the Samford Tennis Center.
