BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford men's tennis team wrapped up the first of two Samford Fall Invites to open its fall season this weekend at the Samford Tennis Center.
 
The Bulldogs hosted UAB, Mercer and Chattanooga as the four teams squared off in various pairings throughout the weekend.
 
Individually for Samford, sophomore Will Gray posted a record of 4-0. He earned two wins over UAB and one each over Chattanooga and Mercer. Ben Kiblinger, Timothy Dixon and Martin Schwartzman earned one singles win each on the weekend as well.
 
The Bulldogs will host a second Samford Invitational, Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at the Samford Tennis Center.
