FORSYTH, Ga. – Samford senior Bailey Dunstan shot a program-record 65 in the second round of the Mercer Invitational, and the Bulldogs sit in first place after two rounds of the event held at River Forest (Par 72, 6,040 yards) on Monday and early Tuesday.
 
"It was just an outstanding effort by everyone today," Samford head coach Joe Davidson said. "We fought, scratched and dug out a great second round. Bailey's round was special, and it could have been even lower. I'm really proud of them for working hard and never giving up."
 
Dunstan sits in second place in the 76-player field with a two-round score of three-under-par 141 (76-65). A full recap pf the tournament will be posted following today's final round.
