BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The 2023 NFL campaign is just a little over halfway with former members of the Samford football team on three active rosters and one on a practice squad.
  
Past Samford standouts James Bradberry is on the Eagles, Nick Williams is with the Chargers and Michael Peirce plays for the Ravens. Montrell Washington was promoted to of the Chiefs' active roster for Week 3 after opening the season on the practice squad, but was re-signed to the practice squad before Week 7.
  
James Bradberry (Samford - 2012-15)
Week 12 Schedule:  Bills at Eagles (Sunday, 3:25 p.m. CT)
Former Bulldog great and All-Pro cornerback James Bradberry recorded a tackle in the Eagles 21-17 comeback win over the Chiefs.
 
Nick Williams (Samford - 2008-12)
Week 12 Schedule:  Ravens at Chargers (Sunday, 7:20 p.m. CT)
Nick Williams tallied a trio of tackles for the second consecutive game as the Chargers fell 23-20 to the Packers.
   
Michael Pierce (Samford - 2013-15)
Week 12 Schedule: Ravens at Chargers (Sunday, 7:20 p.m. CT)
Michael Pierce was active for the Ravens' 34-20 win over the Bengals but did not record any stats.
  
Montrell Washington (Samford - 2017-21)
Week 12 Schedule:  Chiefs at Raiders (Monday, 3:25 p.m. CT)
Montrell Washington was re-signed to the Chiefs' practice squad before Week 7. The Chiefs fell 21-17 to the Eagles on Monday night.
