BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford men's tennis team hosted its second Samford Invitational of the fall season this weekend at the Samford Tennis Center.
Samford was joined in the tournament by Chattanooga, Lipscomb and Mercer.
Samford played Lipscomb in singles, winning five of the eight matches. The Bulldogs played Chattanooga in both doubles and singles. In doubles, the teams split four matches. In singles, Samford won five of the six matches.

Samford will next travel to Baton Rouge, La., to compete in the ITA Regionals, hosted by LSU, Oct. 16-21.
