BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – With the home opener just days away, the Samford football team announced its promotional schedule with events for every home game at Pete Hanna Stadium for the 2024 campaign on Monday afternoon.
 
The events are highlighted by Homewood Community Day on September 14 against Alabama State to open the season and the annual Homecoming weekend against Wofford on November 2.

2024 BULLDOG FOOTBALL PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE
 
Saturday, Sept. 14 vs. Alabama State | 6 p.m. CT
 
Homewood Community Day – Homewood's hometown team is welcoming all Homewood community groups. In the game, Samford will also have recognition from the National Pan-Hellenic Council.  
 
Saturday, Oct. 5 vs. VMI | 2 p.m. CT
 
Blue Out/S-Club Ring Ceremony – Wear your Samford Blue! Blue pom poms will be handed out to fans and the newest members of the S-Club will be presented with their rings at halftime.
 
Saturday, Oct. 19 vs. Mercer | 2 p.m. CT
 
First Responders/Bulldog Buddies – All local first responders are encouraged to attend while members of the Bulldog Buddies group will form a pregame high-five tunnel. Kids that attend the game will come home with a Samford kid's lawn chair. More information about Bulldog Buddies can be found here.
 
Saturday, Nov. 2 vs. Wofford | 2 p.m. CT
 
Homecoming – A full calendar of events will be announced later, but all Samford University alumni are welcome to attend!
 
Saturday, Nov. 9 vs. Tennessee Tech | 2 p.m. CT
 
Sam's Birthday/Military Appreciation – Celebrate Sam The Bulldog's birthday at Pete Hanna Stadium! Along with the birthday celebration, all military personnel are invited to attend.
 
Saturday, Nov. 23 vs. Western Carolina | 2 p.m. CT
 
Senior Day – Pack Pete Hanna Stadium early as we celebrate all the Bulldog seniors in a pregame ceremony.
