Forsyth, Ga. – Samford junior Gabi Nicastro placed fourth and the Bulldog women's golf team finished in fourth place at The Mercer Invitational, held Sunday and Monday at River Forest Golf Club.

Nicastro finished with a three-round score of 218 (76-72-70) to finish fourth in the 40-player field.

Anika Richards finished in ninth place with a three-round total of 225 (75-72-78).  


As a team, Samford finished with a three-round score of 913 (308-299-306). Mercer won the tournament with Florida Atlantic taking second place and West Georgia in third place.
