BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford volleyball team will host Chattanooga and Western Carolina this week in The Pete Hanna Center. The Chattanooga match is scheduled for Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and the Western Carolina match is scheduled for Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
These matches are two of the last four for the Bulldogs in conference play during the regular season. They are currently 4-9 in league play and 9-11 overall for the season.
Samford is coming home after playing their last two conference matches on the road against ETSU and Wofford, Bulldogs lost both matches.
Kaleigh Meritt currently sits at second in the conference with kills at 329,
Ally Cordes comes in at fifth in the conference with 319.
Shea Bruntmyer is currently third in the conference for a total of 655 assists.
Chattanooga is 7-5 in conference play while Western Carolina is 3-9. Both Chattanooga and Western Carolina lost their most recent matches, 0-3. Chattanooga's Caiti Barthel leads the conference in digs with 429 while Western Carolina's Katie Boney leads the conference in assists with 831.
Both matches will be available to stream on ESPN+ and followed on Live Stats.
