BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Samford sophomore
Gabi Nicastro has earned a bid to the NCAA Regional at Lexington, Ky.,, it was announced Wednesday afternoon.
The regional will take place at Keene Trace Golf Club, May 5-7. This marks the second year in a row Nicastro has earned a spot in a regional, as she participated in the Auburn Regional last season.

Joe Davidson said. "She is deserving of every honor she receives and I am excited to see her compete on the national stage once again."
Earlier this week, Nicastro was named the Southern Conference Golfer of the Year, as well as earning All-SoCon honors.
In 28 rounds of golf during the 2024-25 season, Nicastro led the team and ranked second in the Southern Conference with a 72.86 stroke average. She earned five tournament wins this season and was named SoCon Golfer of the Week four times throughout the season.
Nicastro tallied eight under-par rounds during the season. Her low round of the campaign came when she shot a six-under-par 66 in the second round of the Mercer Invitational.
