2025 SCHEDULE

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Games against SEC foes Auburn and Alabama, a contest at cross-town rival UAB and the always tough Southern Conference slate highlight the Samford soccer team's 2025 schedule, released by head coach Todd Yelton Thursday afternoon.
 
To kick things off, Samford will play a pair of exhibition games, playing at Georgia on Aug. 4 and playing at Ole Miss on Aug. 8. The regular season will then begin by playing at Georgia Southern on Aug. 14.
 
Samford will then play its first of two regular season games against SEC foes by playing at Auburn on Aug. 17. The Bulldogs will play their first home game against South Alabama on Aug. 21.
 
Next up, Samford will play host to the Alabama Crimson Tide on Aug. 24 at 5 p.m. The Bulldogs will then go on the road for a pair of matches at Jacksonville State (Aug. 28) and at Georgia State (Sept. 4).
 
Samford will then host Western Kentucky on Sept. 7, before wrapping up the preconference schedule with games at Belmont (Sept. 11) and at cross-town rival UAB (Sept. 14).
 
Samford will open Southern Conference play with a rematch of the last two SoCon Tournament title games against Western Carolina at home on Sept. 18.
 
The Bulldogs will then host Chattanooga on Sept. 21. Samford will play at Wofford on Sept. 26 and then play host to The Citadel on Oct. 2. Samford will play at Furman on Oct. 5, followed by a home game against VMI on Oct. 10 and a game at Mercer on Oct. 16.
 
Samford will play its final home game of the regular season against ETSU on Oct. 19. The team will wrap up the regular season by playing at UNC Greensboro on Oct. 26.
 
The SoCon Tournament will open with the first round on Oct. 28 at campus sites. The quarterfinals and semifinals will take place Oct. 31 and Nov. 2, at the campuses of the No. 1 and No. 2 seeded teams. The championship contest will take place on Nov. 9 at the campus of the highest remaining seed.
