BIRMINGHAM. Ala. – Samford junior pitcher
Cameron Keshock was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 12th round of the 2025 Major League Baseball Draft Monday afternoon.
Keshock was taken with the 353
rd overall pick in the draft.
Keshock appeared in 15 games, starting 14 contests on the mound in 2025. He posted a 5-4 record with a 5.73 ERA this season, recording 74 strikeouts, the second-highest total on the team.
Samford posted a record of 30-27 in 2025. The Bulldogs reached the finals of the Southern Conference Tournament for a third-straight season.
