BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford men's basketball team won the second-annual CHAMPS Cup, which was presented last Thursday night at the Inaugural Samford Gala.
 
Rachel Kang from AlaTrust Credit Union was on hand at the Gala to present the CHAMPS Cup to the men's basketball squad.
 
The CHAMPS Cup annually recognizes and honors the team that best represents what it means to be involved on campus and in the community. This competition celebrates the student-athletes who create a sense of pride throughout the Bulldog community through their support of each other, academic success in the classroom and community outreach. Teams earn points for these different categories.
