BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Samford football team is ranked 20^th in the nation in this week's Sports Network poll and 22^nd in the Division I-FCS Coaches poll.
 
In the Sports Network poll, the Bulldogs drop from 15^th to 20^th after falling at The Citadel, 28-26, on Saturday. In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs dropped from 19^th to 22^nd.  
 
Samford enters this week with a record of 6-3 overall and 4-1 in Southern Conference play. Samford is joined in the Coaches Poll by fellow SoCon members Wofford (15^th) and Chattanooga (23^rd), as well as 2013 opponent Southeastern Louisiana (17^th). In the Sports Network poll, Southeastern Louisiana is ranked 16^th, Wofford 17^th and Chattanooga 24^th.
 
This week, Samford wraps up its four-game road swing with a game at Furman.
