th in the nation in this week's Sports Network poll and 22
nd in the Division I-FCS Coaches poll.
In the Sports Network poll, the Bulldogs drop from 15
th to 20
th after falling at The Citadel, 28-26, on Saturday. In the Coaches Poll, the Bulldogs dropped from 19
th to 22
nd.
Samford enters this week with a record of 6-3 overall and 4-1 in Southern Conference play. Samford is joined in the Coaches Poll by fellow SoCon members Wofford (15
th) and Chattanooga (23
rd), as well as 2013 opponent Southeastern Louisiana (17
th). In the Sports Network poll, Southeastern Louisiana is ranked 16
th, Wofford 17
th and Chattanooga 24
th.
This week, Samford wraps up its four-game road swing with a game at Furman.
