AUBURN, Ala. – Samford men's tennis player
Garrison Laduca finished undefeated in both singles and doubles play Friday as the Bulldogs' junior from Woodstock, Ga., continued to advance at the prestigious 2012 USTA-ITA Southern Regional Championships being held at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
In singles play, Laduca battled back from a set down to upend Troy's Tadju Davies, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3, in the consolation bracket. He later teamed with fellow-junior

“We had a lot of challenging matches today,” said Samford head coach
Rahim Esmail. “We competed hard and put ourselves in a position to win many of the matches that we played. We have a very talented team and we need to continue to work hard each and every day to achieve our goals."
Also in singles play Friday, Samford's
