HATCHER INTERVIEW
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --The Samford football team held its final full practice of the week, preparing for the 10
th-ranked Chattanooga Mocs with a 90-minute workout in shells Thursday afternoon at Seibert Stadium.

Thursday's workout was the fourth full practice of the week. The team will go through one final jog-through Friday afternoon at Seibert Stadium. Samford head coach
Chris Hatcher said the team has had a good week so far.

"We had good focus, it was better than last week," Hatcher said. "We still have to learn how to practice on Thursdays. But, we've had a good week thus far, and we hope it will continue tomorrow."

Samford enters Saturday's game with a record of 2-0 after a 58-21 win over Florida A&M last week. Hatcher talked about what his team needs to do to be ready to play Saturday afternoon.

"We have to fine-tune a few things tomorrow, just to review," Hatcher said. "We need to have great focus and be ready to play Saturday afternoon."

Chattanooga comes into the contest with a record of 1-1. The Mocs are coming off a 44-34 win over Mars Hill last weekend.

Saturday's game is scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m. at Seibert Stadium. The game will be televised live on the American Sports Network, and its local affiliate, WABM My 68. Fans can also listen to the game locally on WVSU-FM 91.1, or worldwide on the internet at
