BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--The Samford women's tennis team will play host to Middle Tennessee Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Samford Tennis Complex.

The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 2-2 on the young season. Samford has earned a pair of 7-0 wins over Jackson State and Kennesaw State, and the Bulldogs fell at 40
th-ranked Auburn and at home to Georgia State.

Senior
Jessica Northcutt has played in the No. 1 singles spot in every match so far this season, posting a 2-2 record. Fellow senior
Carita Moolman has played at the No. 2 position, also going 2-2. The two seniors have played together at the No. 1 doubles spot, posting a perfect 4-0 record so far this season.

Iva Parapunova has been the team's No. 3 position player so far this season, going 2-2.
Ellie Gerlach (2-2) has played at No. 4,
Savannah Wood (2-2) at No. 5 and
Annika Hepp (2-2) at the No. 6 spot.

Middle Tennessee enters the match with a record of 4-4. The Blue Raiders are coming off a 4-3 win at Louisville on Feb. 7.
