BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Samford men's tennis team will travel to Mobile, Ala., to take on the South Alabama Jaguars Thursday at 1 p.m.
Samford enters the match with a record of 3-2. The Bulldogs are coming off a 4-0 win over Southern Mississippi last Saturday.
In the win over Southern Miss, Samford swept the doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead. The Bulldogs then took the first three singles matches to secure the 4-0 win. The clinching point came at No. 1 where senior
Fares Kilani earned a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 win over USM's Tarun Surat.
For the season, Kilani has played every match at No. 1 singles, posting a record of 3-2.
Trey Carter has held down the No. 2 position, also posting a record of 3-2.
Justin Ghavami has played exclusively at the No. 3 spot and has a record of 3-1.

Leonard Gerch has played at the No. 4 position, with a record of 1-2. At No. 5,
Eduardo Lourido Sanchez has a record of 1-1, while
Jake Faundez is 2-0 at the No. 6 position.
South Alabama has a record of 7-4 so far this season. The Jaguars are coming off a 4-2 loss at Utah State on Feb. 14.
