MACON, Ga. – The Samford women's tennis team will open Southern Conference play with a match at Mercer Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. (CT).
 
Samford enters the match with a record of 8-6 so far this season. The Bulldogs are coming off a tight, 4-3 loss to Massachusetts last Thursday.
 
So far this season for Samford, Annika Hepp has led the team with a 10-4 record. Elsa Pool has a record of 8-6, while Ellie Gerlach sits at 7-6 on the year. Arianna Beltrame has a mark of 7-7, while Savannah Wood has a 4-5 records, and Nadine de Villiers has posted a 4-7 mark. Georgina Jupp has a record of 2-0, while Grace Jennings has a 2-2 mark so far this season.
 
Mercer comes into the match with a record of 9-5 overall and 1-1 in Southern Conference play. The Bears are coming off a 7-0 win over Georgia Southwestern on Sunday.
