BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis team will host the Furman Paladins Friday at 2 p.m. at the Samford Tennis Center.
Samford enters the match with a record of 8-8 overall and 0-2 in Southern Conference matches. The Bulldogs are coming off a 7-0 loss to ETSU on March 25.
In singles, Samford has been led by senior
Annika Hepp with a 10-6 record so far this season.
Ellie Gerlach has a mark of 8-7, while
Arianna Beltrame and
Elsa Pool both have records of 8-8.
Savannah Wood comes into Friday's match with a record of 4-6, while
Nadine de Villiers has a mark of 4-9.
Grace Jennings has compiled a record of 2-3, and
Georgina Jupp has a record of 2-0.
In doubles, Wood and Beltrame, and Hepp and Pool have both compiled identical marks of 5-2.
Furman enters the match with a record of 16-5 overall and 3-0 in SoCon matches. The Paladins are coming off a 7-0 win over UNC Greensboro on March 26.
