BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis team will travel to North Carolina for a pair of Southern Conference matches this weekend. The Bulldogs will play at UNCG Saturday at 11 a.m. (CT), and at Western Carolina Sunday at 11 a.m. (CT).
Samford enters the weekend with a record of 9-9 overall and 1-3 in Southern Conference matches. The Bulldogs are coming off a 4-3 win over Wofford last Sunday.
For the season, Samford has been led by
Annika Hepp with a mark of 11-7.
Ellie Gerlach has posted a record of 9-8, while
Elsa Pool has compiled a 9-9 record.
Grace Jennings has an overall record of 4-3 so far this season.
Arianna Beltrame has compiled a record of 8-10 during the spring season.
Savannah Wood has a record of 4-8 this season, while
Nadine de Villiers has a mark of 4-9.
Georgina Jupp has a record of 2-0 so far this season.
UNCG enters the weekend with a record of 3-16 overall and 2-3 in SoCon matches. The Spartans are coming off a 6-1 non-conference loss to Davidson on Wednesday. UNCG's last conference match came in a 4-3 win at Western Carolina last Saturday.
Western Carolina is currently 11-9 overall and 0-4 in SoCon play. The Catamounts are coming off a 5-2 non-conference loss to Gardner-Webb last Sunday. Prior to Sunday's match, the Catamounts will play at Wofford Saturday afternoon.
