BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis will host Belmont Friday at 4 p.m. in the Samford Tennis Center.
Samford enters the match with a record of 1-0. The Bulldogs are coming off a 6-1 win over Kennesaw State last Saturday.
In the win over Kennesaw State, Samford swept the three doubles matches. The Bulldogs also picked up singles wins from
Ellie Gerlach (No. 1),
Roos van der Zwaan (No. 2),
Holly Horsfall (No. 3),
Grace Jennings (No. 5) and
Arianna Beltrame (No. 6).
Belmont has a record of 0-2. The Bruins have fallen in matches to Middle Tennessee (7-0) and Chattanooga (5-2) to open the spring season.
Friday's match is set to begin at 4 p.m. at the Samford Tennis Center. Admission to the match is FREE.
